It's Negative!!

My biopsy was negative for cancer or pre-cancer!!! PTL!! It's a Fibroadenoma which are benign lumps that don't turn into cancer. Since it doesn't cause pain or anything, Dr. C's recommendation is to keep an eye on it. Since she one of the best OB/GYN in the state (little biased here), I'm comfortable with her opinion. Whew!! I never realized how worried Keith was until I told him the news. He was more worried than I was. He's motivated to get his paperwork done for the adoption so that we don't have anything else crop up to stall it. I'm to see her in 3 months to follow-up for this and my other issues. She asked after all this if I still wanted to continue on my HRT because she knows that I've been worried about my bc risk with HRT (which she thinks is low, but my osteoperosis risk w/o HRT is high). I told her that I'm comfortable to continue as we are, but reserve the right re-evaluate at my next annual. I did tell her that sleep would be nice and that while the Lunesta helps me go to sleep, it doesn't keep me asleep, so she upped my dosage. The catch-22 with Fibromyalgia is that you need good sleep to help with the pain, but it's hard to get the sleep when you hurt. So now we continue our journey to bring home a little ladybug!! Rhonda
