AUDIT IS OVER!!!

I *finally* finished my audit work!! Whew!! I've working as late at 11 at night all week. I've worked the last two weekends. I am sooooooooooooo tired. Holy cow! I thought this project would *never* leave. My boss says that I don't have to look at this data file for the rest of the day. LOL!! I have to get cracking on this fiscal year now, but OMG am I glad it's finally over!!! Here is what I accomplished: I moved $12 million worth of assets from a paper bookkeeping system to a computerized system. I converted investments based on percentage to direct allocation so that data file would be more accurate. I learned how to book realized and unrealized gains/losses (and this is with THREE foundations comingled into one account). My worksheets and my data file disagree by only $1,500 (less than 1%)!!!! Whew!!I started this project in July when my life went to hell. So I accomplished all this while dealing with the crap I've been dealt over the last few months. So it's an even bigger accomplishment when you factor that in as well. I really showed my boss that I can hold it together under pressure, that I will work hard create a good product, and that I'm willing to go the extra mile when neccessary. Whew!
