It's been awhile....

I can't believe that last time I posted to my blog was August 3rd. There is so much to catch up on. So much that has gone one. So far that my life spiraled downward that it's been a challenge to climb back up. In a nutshell, I had my hysterectomy (uterus, ovaries, tubes gone! Cervix still there) on August 30th. That dealt with 80% of my pain. Next to the pain specialist to learn that Endometriosis and Adhesions has inflammed two nerves (ilioinguinal & genitofemoral) so bad that they can't stop sending pain messages. He first performed a nerve block to see if that relieved the pain--it did. Next he started using Radio Frequency Waves to deaden 70% of the nerve fibers. He was almost successful, however then he went out of town without telling me. So here I am still in pain. Requiring Percocet round the clock. And trying to hold it together psychologically. For the nitty gritty, you'll have to check here. I've discovered that the road to adoption isn't smooth. Well, I need to meet my honey for dinner. I promise to start getting this caught up soon!
