Houston we have NORMAL!!!!

My estradiol was down to 9 on Thursday!!! WOOHOO!!!! I'm so excited!!! My FSH, LH, & Prolactin were normal!!! Normal!! I'm normal!!! I made it. I managed to hang on to positive thoughts and hope and in the end I was rewarded. Prayers can do wonderful things!! Thank you, Jesus!! {Insert cartwheels} The Dr. in Seattle said that that "yes", I can have a spike that high while on Lupron. Though not common, it does happen. Whew!! That scare is GONE!! OUT OF THE PARK, LADIES & GENTLEMEN!!! Lupron Depot works by increasing your hormone levels for about 1 to 2 weeks and then dropping them to "menopausal" levels. The drug then continues to tell your Pituitary Gland that the body is supposed to stay in "menopause" and the Pituitary Gland then tells the ovaries to not produce Estrogen. The amount I took, 11.25mg, is for three months. If I don't take the 2nd shot (I'm doing a 6 month therapy), then the shot will be worn off my month 4, that's the theory anyway. The last few nights I've been having a hard time going to sleep, then once I am asleep, I keep waking up hot and then cold and then hot and then cold. To the extreme. Minor hot flashes that are usually preceeded or followed by horrible nausea. SOOOOOO, BRING ON THE "ADD BACK" THERAPY!!! "Add Back" Therapy is adding back just enough estrogen to get rid of the "menopausal" side effects and just enought progesterone to "hide" the fact that the estrogen is there. Endometriosis thrives on Estrogen, so "hiding" it makes sure that Endo doesn't know the Estrogen is there. There is a marked improvement in pain. No longer require the Fentanyl Patches or Demarol. Still need the Percocets as the Motrin or Toradol doesn't cut it yet. WE ARE GETTING THERE!!! Woohoo!!! THINGS ARE LOOKING SO PROMISING!!! Next request, PLEASE LET LUPRON WORK WITH NO HORRIBLE S/E AND NO FERTILITY ISSUES LATER. Pain free and a baby are still #1 and #2 on my lists of wants. PLEASE!!! Thanks for sticking with me my wonderful online buddies. Your prayers and support have been holding me together. For that, I am so grateful!!
