A PIANO!! HE got me a piano!!

My honey ROCKS!!! Poor guy, stressed for 2 weeks about making such a large $$$$ decision without my input. He's co-worker assured him that it was going to be fine and IT WAS!! I'm sooooo happy!! I've been wanting my own *real* piano for YEARS!! I can't pass a piano with out touching the keys. It belongs to the daughter of a friend who is now grown and living out-of-state with her husband and children. The topic had come up a couple of years ago for us to purchase it and the $$ would go to the granddaughter's "college fund". At the time there was only one child, so not sure if they 2nd will be included or not. We never finalized the plans. So K new that it was a piano I liked and that I would be please with it. He was worried since I was talking about Hawaii in April that maybe he'd made a bad decision. I told him I would happily put my Hawaii trip on hold another year for a "new" piano. K thinks it's funny that I was convinced that he'd gotten me an MP3 player. He was tickled with his Xbox. He's been on it all morning. LOL! He said that PS2 would have been nice, but Xbox is just as fun. What's nice is some friends own an Xbox as well and we "daisy chain" the two systems and have several playing the same game. Now we are on our way to deliver some Christmas presents and eat ham and deviled eggs at K's parents' house. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
